  • Project Overview
    • The interaction between charged objects is a non-contact force that acts over some distance of separation. Every electrical interaction involves a force that highlights the importance of these three variables. Whether it is a plastic golf tube attracting paper bits, two like-charged balloons repelling or a charged Styrofoam plate interacting with electrons in a piece of aluminum, there is always two charges and a distance between them as the three critical variables that influence the strength of the interaction. In this project we will be using trial account on Wolfram notebook edition to do the Coulomb's Law s computation and plot curve. By the end of the project ,learners will be able to -(1)set up a trial account on the Wolfram notebook edition & manipulate mathematical curve to show the variation of Coulomb's force with change in distance between the point charges(2) illustrate Computation of Coulomb's law between the two charges and also determine the potential energy of the system (Estimate the work done in moving charges) Using Wolfram notebook (3)Calculate the electrostatic force between the two point charges such as electron or protons using Wolfram notebook(4) Compare the electrostatic force to the gravitational attraction for a proton and an electron: for a human and the earth(5)Create lines of force and equipotential lines and analyze with variation in magnitude of charges and distance between them
